The Essence of Indra’s Net Coalition

    • The world is in a crisis from multiple sources.
    • There is ongoing trauma from climate change, pandemic, racism, violence, social injustice and isolation.
    • The obvious solution for survival is collaboration, tolerance, sharing and mutual support.
    • Indra’s Net Coalition Sharing Group strategy seeks to bring people who have been traumatized in small groups to share experience and support one another.
    • The Sharing Group is free to participants, made culturally relevant and addresses trauma and its aftermath in all of its awful forms.
    • Join with us in creating a community of kindness and understanding. Activism will flow from this.

Indra's Net Coalition

What is Indra’s Net and Who are We in IT?

For us Indra’s Net is we in interconnectedness, each of us as a jewel of light reflecting in our own jewel nature all the jewels that exist. As we build our awareness of our actual relationship with all, we create a balance of community and the sharing of our energies, compassion and love is our illumination. There are jewels that are dim or even snuffed out by violence and abuse, or those whose sparkle is only reflected inwards as if self is all. The realization of being just one of the myriad of jewels is empowerment to all as radiant energies enlightens through our unification with all we join. Spirit has no limit. Love has no limit. Sharing and being of the community of light is presence and joy. Connection is deep ecology.  Indra’s Net is our means to balance and integrate us as far as we can reach, as far as the jewels of the net glow in resonance and shining grace.

“Far away in the heavenly abode of the great god Indra, there is a wonderful net which has been hung by some cunning artificer in such a manner that it stretches out infinitely in all directions. In accordance with the extravagant tastes of deities, the artificer has hung a single glittering jewel in each “eye” of the net, and since the net itself is infinite in dimension, the jewels are infinite in number. There hang the jewels, glittering “like” stars in the first magnitude, a wonderful sight to behold. If we now arbitrarily select one of these jewels for inspection and look closely at it, we will discover that in its polished surface there are reflected all the other jewels in the net, infinite in number. Not only that, but each of the jewels reflected in this one jewel is also reflecting all the other jewels, so that there is an infinite reflecting process occurring.”

Covid Indra's Net Coalition

Trauma and Grief of Patients Suffering from Covid-19, and its Aftermath

Indra’s Net offers free or low cost support for trauma caused by recent events such as the Covid-19 pandemic. Leaders in different modalities of trauma research and therapy have joined forces to provide a best practice, global, and scalable set of therapy models and interventions.

Indra’s Net is a unique response to the crisis gripping our world and to the trauma caused by the Covid-19 plague, racism, poverty, and global climate change.  While the origin of Indra’s Net emanates from the psychedelic assisted psychotherapy culture and ketamine in particular, our overall initiative is to bring our expertise with the treatment of trauma to as many people suffering with the effects of trauma, loss, and bereavement as is possible. We are doing this by building a coalition, supporting facilitators and ketamine assisted psychotherapy.

The overarching intention of Indra’s Net is to provide free or low cost support to traumatized people, using not only psychedelic psychotherapy (where legal and available), but also, non-psychedelic trauma support methods. We have several concurrent projects. This support and therapeutic model can expand and adapt to the needs of populations around the world. Our intention is to uphold the ethos of the highest standards of care in psychedelic assisted psychotherapy and trauma support.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy: Trauma Focused

KAP (Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy) is an obvious choice for psychedelic psychotherapy in areas of the world where it is available and legal.  Delivery of KAP needs to be thoroughly encompassed in a safe,  standard of care procedure whether administered via supervised online sessions or in-office. Indras Net brings ketamine and KAP to other localities, training practitioners in its use.

Indr’s Net will provide training, protocols, and manuals for psychedelic psychotherapists who specialize in trauma.  As other psychedelic medicines come available and approved, Indra’s Net will expand to include them in our protocols and support for PTSD.

Beyond ketamine, we have our skill sets in individual and group psychotherapy to call upon.  Many mental health care workers in the psychedelic psychotherapeutic community are traumatologists. Trauma in all its myriad forms is the creator of reactive dysfunctions. This is a time of great stress and challenge. And, on the side of the awakened mind, this is a time of opportunity to share and examine who we are and how we belong. We have an opportunity to create loving connection, understanding and solidarity. Our new Sharing Group is being mobilized to offer a safe and scalable format for online group processing with valuable and efficient training techniques for providers.

Global Outreach

While it is certainly ambitious in its scope, the time calls for grand initiatives for a suffering world.  This one is in our areas of expertise and a global group therapy goal for healing, love, support for bereavement, prevention and treatment of PTSD, and the creation of spaciousness to share with each other in a potential mobilization.  Hopefully it would and could lead to a collective constructive sharing of resources and feelings.  There has been an arising of goodness and compassion, and spontaneous expressions of connection are occurring. In Italy they sing across the balconies.  Here in Marin County, California,  we have a 7 PM howl-in.  Virtual connections and programs are erupting, as are gathering of friends and loved ones across the Zoom stream. The pandemic has us thinking outside the box, getting creative about ways of offering support and connection.

Indra’s Net is global in scope. Each locale in the world has different accessibility to therapy and trauma support. Covid-19 has greatly complicated getting access to therapeutic support in a healthy and safe manner.  One example is the lack of access to computer and internet for Zoom therapy support. Indra’s Net seeks to offer low cost or free trauma therapy solutions to underserved populations who may not have access to trauma therapy or who cannot afford these services. Part of our intention is to make various, effective modalities of trauma therapy widely available and easily accessible.
